This policy covers visitors, buyers, and store owners who use Startovar.

• Account information. When you create an account or apply to open a store, we collect details such as your email address, your store name, and the information you submit in your application.
• Order information. When you buy a product, we collect the email you use at checkout and, for a physical product, the shipping address and phone number needed to deliver the order.
• Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. Stripe processes your payment and shares with us only what we need to record the order, such as the amount and the status.
• Notification information. If you are a store owner and turn on order alerts, we store the technical details your browser provides so we can notify you when you make a sale.
• Technical information. Like most websites, we receive basic technical data such as your device and browser type and log data, which helps us keep the service secure and working.

• To operate the marketplace and your account.
• To process orders and help stores deliver them.
• To send order alerts to store owners who turn them on.
• To prevent fraud and keep the platform secure.
• To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We share with a store the information it needs to fulfill an order you place with it. For a physical product, this includes your shipping address and the phone number for the courier. For a digital product, this includes the email you used at checkout.

We use trusted providers to run Startovar, including Stripe for payments, Supabase for our database, sign in, and file storage, and Vercel for hosting. These providers process data on our behalf so the service can work.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the marketplace. We do not run third party advertising trackers on Startovar.

We keep account and order records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we remove it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses. To make a request, email support@startovar.com and we will respond.

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. When they do, they are expected to protect your information to a standard consistent with this policy.

Startovar is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy as Startovar grows. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
