What does it cost to open a store?
Opening your store is free. No monthly fees, no setup cost. Startovar takes a flat 10% of each sale and you keep the other 90%. We only make money when you do. That is the whole pricing, with no surprises when you join.
What kind of stores can join?
Physical product stores, digital product creators, and dropshipping stores are all welcome. New stores go live right away, and we check them afterwards to keep quality high.
How do I get more buyers?
Your products are promoted across the network. Other stores feature your items and recommend them to their own visitors, so you get discovered without spending on ads.
Do I need my own website?
No. Your Startovar storefront is a complete store on its own. If you already have a website, you can run both side by side.
Can I sell digital products or subscriptions?
Digital products and one-time access are a natural fit. You list it, a buyer pays, and you deliver access with a code or a link. Recurring subscriptions are on the roadmap.
Do I have to pay tax in other countries?
You handle your own taxes, and the scary numbers you may have read about are usually not a tax. For EU sellers there is one EU-wide threshold of EUR 10,000 a year on sales to buyers in other EU countries. Under it you charge your own country's VAT. Over it you register once for the One Stop Shop at home and file a single return covering every country, so there is no annual fee per country. Shipping physical goods into Germany or France also brings packaging recycling rules, which do not apply to digital products at all.
