Refund and Return Policy

Startovar is a marketplace, and each store sells and delivers its own products. This page explains how refunds and returns work, and how to get help if something goes wrong with an order.

Who handles your refund

Because each store sells and delivers its own products, refunds are handled together with the store you bought from. If you cannot reach the store, or you are not getting a fair response, contact us at support@startovar.com and we will help.

Digital products

A digital product is delivered straight after payment, as a download link or as access instructions. For that reason, a digital product is generally not refundable once it has been delivered to you.

You are still entitled to a remedy if the product was never delivered, does not work, or is clearly not what was described. In those cases, contact us and we will make it right.

Physical products

If a physical product arrives damaged, faulty, the wrong item, or clearly not as described, you are entitled to a refund or a replacement. Contact the store, or us, within 14 days of receiving the order.

Return shipping arrangements depend on the store and on the reason for the return. We will help agree a fair outcome.

Orders that never arrive

If an order does not arrive within a reasonable time, or a digital delivery never reaches you, contact us and we will look into it and arrange a refund or a redelivery.

How to request a refund

Email support@startovar.com with the email you used at checkout, the name of the store, and the product. The more detail you give, the faster we can help. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe. How long the money takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider.

Before you start a chargeback

If something is wrong with an order, please contact us first. We can almost always resolve it faster than a card dispute, and it helps the small stores on the marketplace avoid unfair penalties.

Your statutory rights
